Robots will not look like we imagine them →
Perhaps painfully obvious to many of us, but a useful reminder: robots will come in shape of animals, in shape of flying discs or rockets, and even amoeba-like shapes. Humanoid robots, let’s call them androids, are not the only way of the future (via Futurismic).

Brazilians high-jacking US military satellite... →
Interesting news from Wired on the DIY radios that enable some Brazilians to use legacy US military comms satellites. They can’t (yet) interpret the encrypted military traffic, but they risk saturating existing frequencies. Fast forward, 2050: Earth orbit full of forgotten and discarded satellites, used by nomads, DIYers and underground organizations? (via Global Guerillas)

Spy Bots in Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles... →
US military wants to put spy bots/drones in ICBMs that can reach anywhere in the world under the hour. This, together with orbital drop, will make future wars to start - and  end - within the hour.

Absence
Have been absent from the online for some fleshwordly stuff. Big brain dump coming though, but will be sent out in nice, edible pieces over the coming days.
