ripperdoc's clinic

A schizofrenic braindump, a stream of cyberpunk, post-cyberpunk, neopunk, futurism and sci-fi items, inspiration for my writing and game design. Usually managed by my trusty auto-posting AI residing in a possum-brain in my kitchen sink.

Go ahead and inject into my brainfeed via Twitter or Tumblr submit. Aslo, go ahead and challenge my AI with a question (warning, it bites).

Haha, great to see this one here. Actually, Neotech 2 (as pictured) has a lot less chrome than Neotech 1. But the new version - that is being worked on since forever - is quite a different beast. Chrome and leather belongs to the history - post-cyberpunk (or “neopunk”) involves a lot more drones, augmented reality, 3D-printing, genetics, etc. It’s time to leave the 80s! ;)

So growing up, we were playing a game called Neotech a lot, it was one of those near-future sci-fi cyberpunk things, quite awesome back then. but browsing through the book, I feel like ripperdoc owes me a lot of excuses ;)

I mean, where’s the glitz, the glamour and the metallic sheen, THE CHROME! ;)
