Biohackers, Grinders, and the Augmentation of Your Senses

This is an amazing article detailing the work of two Pittsburgh men who are on the cutting edge of the cyberpunk notion of implants, cybernetic body parts, and the augmentation of humans… for the fuck of it.

Ben Popper exposes bits and pieces of a much deeper movement - a movement in transhumanism where people worldwide are beginning to finally reshape the line from “Man/Machine” to Man-Machine. One day the two will merge from an external, yet symbiotic, relationship and form something that is truly indistinguishable.

The day the first truly cybernetic individual awakens from surgery I will rejoice. I will celebrate that which I have unknowingly been trying to accomplish for so many years - finally becoming one with the collective consciousness that is computing and the internet.
