Chinese company to build 838m skyscraper in 90 days
They may fail, but clearly someone will do it. Soon. Of course, this is a bit of a cheat - you spend the time building the prefab components, and thus less time assembling them.

The Citadel is just massive! It is the tallest standing structure on Earth by 3 times! Sitting next to the Burj Khalifa, Dubai’s best efforts to be the tallest are simply a comedic attempt. Towering at 8430.9 feet according to Hammer, The Citadel would be a sight to behold in person. Really shows who controls the planet with that being the most visible landmark for hundreds of miles in all direction.
Golly, can you imagine standing near this thing? It’d make me sick looking straight up, not able to see the top, just seeing it go on and on and on. Yikes
